Responsible and Secure AI for the Future MOSAIC Framework
The Responsible and Secure AI for Future (RSAIF) is established to facilitate collaborative research and educational efforts in the field of responsible and secure artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. The mission of the RSAIF Project is to advance the understanding, development, and dissemination of responsible and secure AI practices among cybersecurity professionals responsible for defending their organization’s cybersecurity posture.
Objectives:
- Promote research and knowledge sharing on responsible AI development, ethics, and security.
- Provide educational resources and materials for AI professionals, researchers, and the broader community.
- Foster collaboration and exchange of best practices among participants.
The RSAIF MOSAIC Framework focuses on 7 critical domains—Governance, Risk Management, Oversight, Security, Privacy, Legal and Trust. Security being the biggest focus. Among these, Security stands as the cornerstone, reflecting its paramount importance in safeguarding AI systems against evolving threats while ensuring the reliability and resilience of AI technologies. Together, these domains create a robust foundation for building Responsible and Secure AI systems.
The framework comprises 150 unique elements, structured as:
- 32 Approaches: High-level strategies and methodologies to guide organizations in implementing secure, ethical, and compliant AI practices.
- 63 Components: Practical building blocks, including tools, processes, and systems, that bring the framework to life.
